Overflow hotels for ChicagoMar 30, 1am

We've filled up our main room block at the Hyatt Regency O'hare, so we've now released room blocks at many of the nearby hotels. We've partnered with several of them to give you a lot more choice and flexibility in where you would like to stay for 2014.

We're extremely excited about last week's announcement that BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT, will be coming to Anime Midwest 2014 this July in Chicago. BABY is one of the oldest lolita fashion brands in existance, with over 20 some stores in Japan and also stores in France and San Francisco.

We got to announce today that AniMinneapolis will be having special guests Jonathan Klein and Greg Ayres. Jonathan Klein is an English language producer and director of Videogames and Anime at his company, New Generation Pictures, Inc.

My friends YTCracker and Doctor Awkward will be coming back to AniMinneapolis and to Anime Midwest. YTCracker, old skool king of spam and the originator of nerdy hip-hop music, raps about everything from Bitcoin to spamming with a Legend of Zelda music backing.

Eric Stuart, voice of Brock and James in Pokémon, and Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh., will be joining us in Minneapolis for our epic Minneapolis anime convention, AniMinneapolis. Eric will also be performing in a special solo acoustic concert, exclusive for AniMinneapolis attendees.

Awesome guests Chuck Huber and Chris Rager will be coming back to AniMinneapolis. Chuck Huber is Android 17, Garlic Jr, and a whole bunch of characters you probably love like Hiei in YuYu Hakusho and Stein in Soul Eater.

I'm happy to report that DJ and VA Greg Ayres will be coming to Anime-ZAP. 2014, in addition to the wonderful Samurai Dan and Lady Jillian. See their complete bios on the ZAP website. Greg will be doing many panels and headlining our rave dance (which will be awesome in our new location), and Samurai Dan and Lady Jillian will be doing numerous presentations and demonstrations.
